Immutable daily snapshots
One snapshot of the benchmark is taken per UTC day, the first time the index rebuilds. A snapshot never changes after it is written; a correction is a new snapshot. Each carries a SHA-256 content hash in its x-content-hash header, so a citation can be checked byte for byte.
