CrawlCheck

Pricing

The scan is free. What you pay for is what it holds back

In one sentence

The CrawlCheck scan, every number in the report and a single YouTube video check are free for any domain, with no account. What costs money is what the free report holds back — the named pages, listings and links behind each count — the record that says when each defect began, and whole YouTube channels checked upload by upload: Watch $29 a month for 3 domains and 1 channel, Studio $89 for 10 domains and 3 channels, Agency $249 for 40 and 10, Network from $690 for 150 domains and up.

The scan stays free and so does every number in it. What costs money is the record — what changed, when, and an artifact of it somebody else can check. Run this once and you learn where the site stands today; that answer is free and complete. The one thing running it once can never produce is a before.

What a licence never buys: a better score. Nothing on this page changes a measurement, a finding or a grade. The moment a payment can move a result, every result on the site is worth less — including the ones you would be paying for.

One-time work, priced once

Three things you can buy once rather than subscribe to. Each is quoted against a scan, delivered on your site, and re-measured afterwards so done is measured rather than asserted.

Try Watch on one domain for 30 days. No card.

You get a real Watch licence, limited to one domain and 30 days: every list the free report holds back, finding age on every defect, and a change receipt from the second measurement on. When it ends, monitoring stops and the record it built stays readable on every report for that domain — the days after it ends are the ones no tool can back-fill, which is the whole reason a trial of this product is worth having.

One trial per domain and per email. The key is shown once on the next page and is the account — there is no password.

The four tiers, in full

Watch — $29 / month

The free scan tells you how many. Watch tells you which — every list the report holds back — and keeps the record that says when it started.

  • Which pages: the thin ones, the orphans, the ones with no JSON-LD, the ones not answering 200 — named, not counted
  • The 300-page walk with the link graph, on demand, per domain
  • Which directories list you and under what name, and who links to you
  • The record, kept for you: finding age, first-seen and closed dates, whether a defect came back
  • Change receipts — an artifact a third party can verify without trusting us
  • Webhook to Slack, Zapier or your own endpoint the moment a crawler-visible result moves. Silence otherwise
  • YouTube: one channel checked whole — every upload against the video anchor fields Google computes (chapters, captions, description, topics), tallied and sorted by views — and whether your site carries your videos with VideoObject schema
  • The CrawlCheck form on every domain: a one-tag quote form that records first- and last-touch source (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google, a campaign, direct), files each lead beside the record, and is styled from your dashboard
  • 3 domains. We re-measure twice a day so the record has no gaps; that is the mechanism, not the product

Start watch

Or pay for the year and pay for ten months. Same measurement either way — the longer term is worth more only because the record is.

Studio — $89 / month

Everything Watch shows, on ten domains, in a report you can hand to a client with your name on it.

  • 10 domains
  • Everything in Watch, on all ten
  • Reports branded as yours — your name, logo and link at the same URL, timestamp proof intact
  • Client-safe link: the findings and the evidence, none of the internal notes
  • Compare pages saved to the record: your client against their competitor, dated
  • Identity Guard: which verified AI crawlers actually reached the server, from the site’s own log — the measurement no scan from outside can produce
  • YouTube on 3 channels, plus the transcript layer: caption kind (uploaded or auto), what is said versus what is written, and storyboard frames, read through the browser extension — the half YouTube refuses to a server

Start studio

Or pay for the year and pay for ten months. Same measurement either way — the longer term is worth more only because the record is.

Agency — $249 / month

Forty domains and the tools for answering to somebody else about all of them.

  • 40 domains
  • Everything in Studio, on all forty
  • The licensed API lane: POST /api/scan/licensed on your key, 60 scans per ten minutes, outside the anonymous limit — and the CI workflow that fails a pull request above a severity you set (/docs/ci)
  • Portfolio view: every domain, every open defect, one page
  • Regression alerts across the portfolio — a fixed defect that returns is invisible to any tool without a prior record
  • YouTube on 10 channels, with the change record per video: chapters added, captions uploaded, descriptions rewritten, dated
  • Priority on new checks, and a direct line when a finding needs arguing about

Start agency

Or pay for the year and pay for ten months. Same measurement either way — the longer term is worth more only because the record is.

Network — From $690 / month

150 domains and up. For whoever runs a network of sites rather than a list of them.

  • 150+ domains, on a cadence you set
  • Everything in Agency, across the whole network
  • Cohort reporting across your own estate — how many were broken at least once, not just how many look clean today
  • Bulk receipts for a date range across every domain at once
  • YouTube across every channel in the estate
  • Scoped to your estate: your numbers are never published, named or pooled

Quoted per estate, not priced: a hundred and fifty domains and up is sized to the network it covers. Leave an address below and a fixed quote comes back before anything starts.

Free against paid, row by row

What you get, and what costs money

Every measurement is free, on any domain, as often as you like. The free report gives you every count; a licence gives you the lists behind them — which pages, which listings, who links — and the record that says when each defect began. A record cannot be bought after the fact at any price — it exists only if something was already watching.

So the unit is not the scan, and it is not the site. It is how many domains you want the lists and the record for. Whoever owns forty sites has one habit, not forty subscriptions, and should pay for it once.

Which pages — the free report counts thin pages, orphans, pages without JSON-LD and pages not answering 200; this names them
The 300-page walk with the link graph — every declared URL, orphans against your own internal links, undeclared pages, per-page status and text ratio, on demand
Which directories list you, and who links to you — listings found by your phone number, the name each one prints, and the pages that link to you
The record itself — every measurement kept as a dated series, so you can answer "when did this start", not just "what is wrong today"
Change receipt — an artifact your client or your boss can verify themselves, proving what moved between two dates and that neither reading was edited afterwards
Finding age — not "your llms.txt is missing" but "missing for 47 days, on every one of 47 measurements". No tool that started looking today can print that sentence
Told when it breaks — the moment a crawler-visible result changes it lands in your Slack. Silence when nothing changed
Which crawlers actually reached your server — Identity Guard posts your own access log under the licence; each address is verified against the operator’s published range here. The outcome, from inside
Reports branded as yours — your name and logo, at the URL you already share, with the timestamp proof intact so a client can still verify it
The licensed API lane and the portfolio view — 60 scans per ten minutes on your key, and every domain with every open defect on one page

Unlimited scans of any domain — no account, no card, no cap

Timestamp proof, anchored to Bitcoin
Embeddable badge that updates with your score
Name, phone and address a machine can read
Directory coverage — which of ten sources you declare
Where you sit against everyone else — your percentile against every site this scanner has measured
Whole-site counts — thin pages, orphans, pages without JSON-LD, not-200s: the numbers, on every scan
Compare against any competitor — two sites, one scan, side by side

Nothing above the line can be back-dated. Start today and the first change receipt is possible within two days; start in March and March is gone. Nothing a licence unlocks changes a measurement, a finding or a grade — paying buys more measurement, never a better number. Pay for a year and you pay for ten months; the record is worth more the longer it runs, which is the only honest reason to prefer the longer commitment.

One-time work, if you would rather not do it yourself

Fix everything in your report
Every finding corrected on your site and re-measured afterwards. You get a change receipt: the before and after, each sealed and independently verifiable on your own machine, so the fix is evidenced rather than asserted.
  • Thirty days of monitoring, included. The site is re-scanned twice a day and any crawler-visible change is posted to your webhook, so a regression is found by us rather than by you.
  • A second sealed receipt at day thirty. The first proves the fix landed; the second proves it held. Both verify on your own machine against a published root, with no need to trust us.
  • Done is defined by re-measurement, not by assertion. A finding that is still there on the re-scan is not finished work.

The blueprint
Every machine file your site serves — robots.txt, llms.txt, agents.md, the entity graph, the sitemap — rewritten in the form that measures best, and installed. The Optimal column in any report is a specimen of it. What makes it worth buying is the denominator: a fixed panel of sites is measured every day and every reading kept, so “best form” is derived from what actually gets served and read, not from an opinion about a draft standard.
$450
one-time

Both are priced from, not at: a forty-page site and a four-hundred-page site are not the same job, and a fixed quote comes back before anything starts. Scan the site first — the report is what either of these is quoted against.

Machine layer, built for you — $349 per domain

The scan tells you the files are missing. This is the alternative to reading that list and doing it yourself: an llms.txt, an agents.md and an entity map authored for the specific business — not a template with the name swapped, which is the thing this scanner catches on other people’s sites every day.

A one-time build, not a subscription. If you never speak to us again the files keep working.

Citation repair — quoted per site

The free scan lists the directories a site declares and the ones it does not. Two things can follow from that list:

No checkout button here on purpose: this is hand work by a person, and a price set before seeing the site would be a guess. Leave your domain below and the scan does the rest.

Ask for a licence or a service

Prefer an invoice, need a plan that is not on this page, or want one of the one-time services? Leave your details and a person replies — nothing is charged and nothing starts automatically.

How a licence is used

A licence is a key, not an account. Add ?lic=<your key> to any report URL and it renders as yours; give the same key to the monitoring form and the webhook starts. There is no login to forget and nothing to install.

Questions about this page

QIs the CrawlCheck scan really free?
Yes. Any domain, the full report with every section, finding and evidence byte, JSON and CSV exports, and a URL that regenerates when opened. No account, no card, no limit on domains you can scan by hand.
QWhat does a paid plan add?
The lists the free report holds back — which pages are thin, orphaned, missing JSON-LD or not answering 200, which directories list you and under what name, who links to you, and the 300-page walk with the link graph — plus the dated record: finding age, first-seen and close dates, change receipts, and a webhook when something moves. Studio adds branded client-safe reports; Agency adds the portfolio view and the keyed API lane.
QWhy is pricing per domain rather than per scan?
Because scans are free and always will be. What you pay for attaches to a domain: the named lists behind its counts and the record of when each defect began. Whoever owns forty sites has one habit, not forty subscriptions, so the unit is how many domains you want that for.
QCan I pay for a better score?
No. Nothing on the pricing page changes a measurement. The one-time services (fixing every finding on your site, or building the machine layer) change the site, and the fix is re-measured afterwards rather than asserted.
QIs there an annual price?
Yes: pay for the year and pay for ten months. Network is quoted per estate rather than priced.
