Free for agents. Free to scan. Pay for depth or volume.

Scan a domain free I have one site I run many I build agents Add-ons

Paying never changes a reading. A price buys the work, the record over time, or volume. Never a better number.

Agents ask free. Scans are free. You pay to have your site fixed, to keep it watched, or to measure many sites at once.

In one sentence

Agents ask free and every scan is free. One site: the fix list implemented once for $749, then Watch at $29 a month. Many sites: the API from $99 a month, Agency at $249 for 40 domains. No price changes a measurement.

For agent builders

Ask before your agent acts: $0, no key.

Public by design: an answer an agent must pay for is an answer it will skip.

The answer never costs anything, so no agent has a reason to skip the check. A key buys fresh scans and volume, not a better answer.

Path one

For one business

Scan, get it fixed once, keep it watched. Stop at whichever step you need.

The top 1,000 sites, measured today

92 of 507 sites that answer a browser turn at least one AI reader away (18%). Most do not know. The free scan tells you in about twenty seconds whether you are one of them.
  1. Step 1

    The free scan

    $0

    • Grade, score, and which stage fails: Reach, Read or Quote
    • Every finding named, with its severity; the top one in full
    • A report link that always shows the current reading
    • The 30-day trial opens every locked section on one domain, once — no card
    Scan now

    No account. No card.

  2. Step 2

    Fix list implemented

    $749 once

    • We implement your fix list on the site and re-scan it, so done is measured; anything we cannot change from the site stays open on the re-scan
    • Your machine files written for you: entity map, agents.md, llms.txt
    • Thirty days of monitoring included
    • Two receipts: one when the fix lands, one at day thirty proving it held
    Get it fixed

Card, then we start. One site per order.

  3. Step 3

    Watch

    $29 / month

    • 3 domains under continuous record, re-measured twice a day
    • Every problem with its evidence, how long it has been open, and when it closed
    • A dated, signed receipt for every change
    • An alert when a twice-daily check finds a regression; a quote form that says whether the lead came from ChatGPT

Try Watch on one domain for 30 days. No card.

A real Watch licence on one domain for 30 days: every list the free report holds back, and a dated record from the second reading on. When it ends the record stays readable on every report for that domain.

One trial per domain and per email. The key is shown once on the next page and is the account — there is no password.

    • The full report as JSON, every problem with its evidence
    • Batches of up to 100 domains; deep crawls to 500 pages

Evidence, Intelligence, Data, and the executive report

Added from your dashboard, on either ladder.

  • Evidence

    $49 / month, or $490 a year

The proof as one signed file: every measurement, receipt and seal for a period, checked offline by the same verifier. For a dispute, a hand-over or an auditor.

On Watch or any key · included in Agency

  • Intelligence

    $49 / month, or $490 a year

The benchmark: where a site sits against every site measured here, how rare each of its problems is, and your portfolio side by side.

On Watch or any key · included in Growth

  • Data

    $199 / month, or $1,990 a year

The archive: every daily snapshot of every public answer, kept 90 days, so a change on any measured site can be placed to the day. The newest 7 are public.

What a number on this page can and cannot say

A report is what our observer received from a site at a stated moment, under stated crawler identities, scored under a stated rule version. It is not a promise about how any search engine or answer engine treats the site. A refused scan carries no grade by design. Every accusing finding shows the evidence bytes it rests on; if the bytes do not support it, tell us and we correct the record, never the bytes.

Questions about this page

QDo agents pay anything?
No. The signed Resolve answer, the decision per action, the preflight receipt, the rulebook, the signing keys, the conformance suite, the census and the SDKs are public with no key and no quota. A key buys fresh scans on demand, batches and deep crawls, machine records with evidence bytes, webhooks and exports.
QIs the dataset for sale?
Today's answers are not: the per-domain answer, the daily census and the newest 7 Resolve snapshots are public under CC BY 4.0. What is sold is depth over time: the Data add-on keeps 90 days of daily snapshots on a key, so a change on any measured site can be placed to the day. $199 a month, included in Growth.
QWhat is free?
Scans of any domain are free, with no account, no card and no per-person daily limit (a site-wide daily budget of free scans keeps the service up; a licence key is never affected). The free report shows the grade, the score, which stage fails, every finding by name and severity, and the top finding in full. The detail, evidence and fix behind the other findings, the named pages behind each count, and the record kept over time need a plan, the fix service, or the 30-day trial.
QWhich path am I on?
One site: scan free, have the fix list implemented once for $749 with thirty days of monitoring included, then keep the record with Watch at $29 a month for 3 domains. Many sites: the API at $99 a month for 2,000 scans (Developer) or $499 for 20,000 (Growth), or Agency at $249 a month for 40 domains under record with the API included.
QCan payment improve a score?
No. Plans and services cannot edit a score, grade, finding or directory position. The fix service changes the website; CrawlCheck then measures the changed site under the same rules as everyone else.
QIs the scoring method for sale, or secret?
Neither. Every finding has a rule page at /rules/<code> that says what was measured and why it counts; the sections and what each one checks are on /how-it-works; and every report states the rule version it was scored under. A plan changes how much you can measure and how long the record is kept. It never changes the method, and the method is never sold as a private version.
QWhat if I want a refund?
A full refund on request within seven days of a first subscription charge, and a full refund of the fix until work on your site has started. A monthly renewal is not refunded; cancelling stops the next charge. Email hello@crawlcheck.io from the address you paid with, naming the order or domain; refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. The full table, purchase by purchase, is at /refunds.
QWhat counts as one API scan?
One keyed scan, one deep crawl request, or one domain in a batch, charged when the batch is accepted. Quotas are per calendar month, reset on the first, and requests above them are rejected, never charged.
QWhy is monitoring priced per domain rather than per scan?
Because scans are free. What you pay for attaches to a domain: the lists behind its counts and the record of when each defect began and closed. Someone with forty sites has one habit, not forty subscriptions.
QWhat are the Evidence and Intelligence add-ons?
Two lines any plan can carry, $49 a month each, added from your dashboard. Evidence is the proof as a file: a signed export of every measurement in a period with its evidence bundle, every receipt, the certificate days and the seals, which the public verifier checks offline as one file; it is included in Agency. Intelligence is comparison: the benchmark against every measured site with the rarity of each finding, the portfolio side by side, bulk verification and the competitor watch; it is included in Growth. Neither changes a measurement.
QIs there an annual price?
Yes: pay for the year and pay for ten months, on Watch, on Agency and on both add-ons. The fix is one payment and does not renew. API plans are monthly.
QAre prices going to change?
They are frozen until 2026-10-18. Any change after that is announced on the API docs at least thirty days ahead, and a change that reduces what a plan does never applies mid-period.
