Allow header
The HTTP header a 405 (method not allowed) response must carry, listing the methods the URL does accept, such as GET, HEAD and OPTIONS. CrawlCheck adds it to any 405 that lacks it.
What Allow header does not show
It tells a client what it may try instead; a 405 without it leaves an agent to guess, and the list says nothing about what the client is permitted to do with the answer.
