Monthly benchmark releases
A release is the last immutable snapshot of each calendar month. Change notes are derived from the ledger events in that month; nothing is hand-written. The current month stays open until its last day and is labelled as such. Movement across different score versions is a rubric change, not a site change, and is never netted.

Comparing across score versions
Every release records the score version it was measured under. Two releases with the same version are directly comparable; when the version differs, compare finding codes and machine-file states, which are stable across versions, not the score. The correction log records any release that was superseded.
