receipt header
An HTTP request header by which an agent attaches the hash of its decision receipt to the requests it sends a site. The site, or its edge, can look the hash up and confirm that a preflight was run, what it decided and whether it is still in date, all without the agent revealing anything else.
What receipt header means
An HTTP request header by which an agent attaches the hash of its decision receipt to the requests it sends a site. The site, or its edge, can look the hash up and confirm that a preflight was run, what it decided and whether it is still in date, all without the agent revealing anything else. It can distinguish an agent that checked first from one that did not; it cannot stop a request on its own, since whether to refuse is still the site's call.
